The Big Day: Sunday 19th August 2007
For 24 hours, from midnight to midnight, the community and participants are invited to take photographs of life in the village. It can be anywhere, any time. We're looking for a wide range of subjects, styles, compositions and anything goes...
Try and take a picture you thin NOBODY else will take that day.
Take pictures of places that not many people know about.
Take pictures of your family and friends and pets.
Take pictures that are unique to Newbiggin.
Take pictures that are funny.
Take pictures that are exciting.
Take pictures that are strange.
Take pictures that are beautiful.
Remember that it's a 24 hour event - don't forget the hours of darkness. Can you catch the sunrise? Can you capture the sunset? Can you take a shot that includes the moon? Who will take the first and last pictures on that day?
Any type of camera, from professional digital SLR to single use disposable, from point and click to mobile phones, from polaroid to pinhole. See if you can use a format that no-one esle is using, and be as creative as you can possible be. |
